Return to In-Person Worship

Our wardens have made the decision to return to in-person worship this Sunday August 1. Service will also be simulcast online via zoom.

This was not an easy decision to make and several factors were considered:

  1. We have a limited, small space for worship. There is no way to socially distance when we have more than 20 people in our space.
  2. We have not, and we will not determine who is vaccinated and who is not. We will not limit our worship and Holy Eucharist to people who have been vaccinated only.
  3. There is no way for us to determine who has been recently exposed to COVID-19.

We will continue to monitor the situation, the Guidelines from the Diocese of Newark, and we will adjust our worship plans accordingly.

In-Person Worship will resume Sunday August 1, with the following precautions:

  • MASKS REQUIRED: Everyone is required to wear a mask to attend the service and at all times while indoors.
  • NO PHYSICAL PASSING OF THE PEACE: No handshakes, no hugs, no fist or elbow bumps. Waving, peace signs, and smiles only.
  • VENTILATION: All church windows and doors will be open and fans will be running. There will be no air conditioning.
  • COFFEE HOUR: Coffee hour will be held in the yard, weather permitting.

If you have questions or concerns about this decision please talk with the Wardens, Hank Allen and Susan Jacobson.
